Certa ProPainters, Ltd. is looking for a result-driven, highly motivated, solution-oriented General Manager. The primary role of the General Manager is to lead franchisees throughout the United States and Canada to maximize sales, customer experience and profits in the painting and decorating business. The Franchise Business Consultant reports to the Regional Vice President.

Essential Functions

  • Provide guidance and leadership to franchisees related to the successful operation of a
    painting and decorating business (marketing, sales, production, financial, hiring and skill
    development).
  • Continual coaching and skill development.
  • Facilitate the financial and lifestyle goals of their franchisees and ensuring that divisional
    and organizational directives are achieved.
  • Review, evaluate and provide feedback to franchisees.
  • Day-to-day operational support.
  • Development of strategic business plans with franchise owners.
  • Facilitate and support franchisees and their key staff as it relates to recruiting, training
    and development of their people.
  • Manage and deploy marketing cooperatives and branding strategy.
  • Goal Setting & Review on a consistent basis with the franchisees they support.
  • Drive and achieve divisional revenue targets.
  • Facilitate, develop and organize training seminars, workshops and franchise owner
    “Flight Groups”.
  • Provide input into the development of new operational systems and programs.
  • Create a team budget on an annual basis.
  • Provide monthly divisional trending.
  • Regular profit and loss / trend reviews with franchisees.
  • Strategic focus on the organizational key performance indicators (KPI’s).
  • Identify and incorporate best practices into program plans.
  • Deliver conference content.
  • Consult with the Regional Vice President on performance, organizational and leadership
    matters.
  • Facilitates regional online and instructor led training.
  • Field visits as required.
  • Provide leadership within the Line Team.
  • Plan and coordinate franchise functions to build morale and improve communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendor partners.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five years of Operations experience.
  • Five years of achieving results through leading people.
  • Must have a proven sales background.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
  • Have brand experience knowledge.
  • Previous business ownership and/or experience in franchising a plus.
  • Highly qualified candidates will have significant experience in coaching, planning,
    financial statements and leading high performing business teams.
